SARTrack The is the web site of SARTrack Limited, a company set up for the development of Radio Tracking specifically for Search and Rescue in New Zealand. IMPORTANT INFORMATION After 3 years of hard work, and no real interest from the New Zealand SAR community (and no sales), and especially from LandSAR NZ, I have now decided not to continue with the sale of the "hardware", the Trackers and Repeaters I have developed for NZ SAR. However, the development of the SARTrack Software, the hart of the system, will continue. I am planning to develop an international version of the SARTrack Software, which will be made available as shareware. The New Zealand version of the software (which contains 5 Gigabyte of topographical maps) is available for sale in New Zealand, and will come with permission to use the dedicated VHF frequency for use with Trackers and Repeaters. However, any SAR group wanting to use the system, will have to find somebody to build the Trackers and Repeaters for them. My design can be used on request.
